Rob's going-away celebration is an occasion for him to express unresolved emotions and close loose ends. When a sudden jolt causes the partygoers to shake, Rob's plans take an unexpected twist. After watching news of the earthquake, the crowd rushes up to the roof in order to inspect the damage. On the distant horizon, a fireball explodes. Then, a power outage occurs. As the crowds stumble into the street during the blackout, confusion turns to panic. Rob, his friends, and the inhuman sound of screams must navigate a changed landscape, dominated by something monstrous, otherworldly and terrifying.
