Jake Scully arrives home to find his partner with another person and must find somewhere new to live. Between acting workshops and filming a vampire B-movie, he scans newspapers looking for anything suitable. It turns out Sam Bouchard needs house sitting help so Jake meets up with Sam on an acting workshop he was taking part in; together they become house sitting partners.
