Suburbicon, an all-white utopia with manicured lawns and friendly neighbors, becomes embroiled in tension as an African American family moves in during 1959's hot summer heatwave. Unfortunately for him (his young patriarch), things could escalate quickly once their arrival had made waves among neighbors who opposed integration and felt threatened by African culture in general.
